H10 Rubicón Palace is set in white-washed buildings around a lagoon-style pool in the Lanzarote fishing village of Playa Blanca. Overlooking La Mulata Beach it features a spa and 10 restaurants and bars.Each air-conditioned room at the H10 Rubicon Palace Hotel is spacious and bright. All rooms have flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. Guests can hire beach towels at reception.Two buffet restaurants offer show cooking and themed dinners. À la carte options include The Steakhouse which offers American specialties; the Dolce Vita features Italian cuisine and Sakura serves fusion-oriental cuisine. “Lovely hotel. Nice food, great pools and genuinely enjoyable.
For a 5* hotel I would have expected help and assistance showing us to our room when we first checked in due to the fact we were only told and had to take several flights of stairs with our suitcases as the lifts were broken. Only other issue was we woke up one morning with ants crawling all over us in our bedding and the water from the hand basin wouldn’t flush down the drain correctly it would just splash out of the pipe onto the floor.”

“The location was great and the facilities were nice but that's where the positives ended for my family. The food was some of the worst I've ever had (cold and/or just poor tasting). I complained about the food on one occasion but the waitress didn't seem to care. It also felt like we had to ask reception 2 to 3 times before anything was done (which is not what you expect from a "5-star" resort). For example, our sheets were replaced one day with stained sheets (looked like a fake tan and some sort of greenish stain). I had to call reception twice (allowing about 2 hours between each call) and on the second call, reception's response was, "so you just want new sheets?" in a sarcastic tone. For me, what you see on the website is not what you get. In my opinion, this place does the bare minimum and it was an unpleasant stay for my family.I'm not surprised with the 5-star reviews as my sister-in-law was offered (and accepted) a bottle of cava by a member of staff for showing she left a 5-star review.”
