“Normally a great experience here but on this occasion wrong rooms given at check in
Rectified with no apology
Had to change rooms again due to hardly any space to move in the bathroom
Then during the first day the rooms were not cleaned. We complained and despite assurances that they would be done they were not so we had to complain again
We were offered complimentary breakfasts and a slightly later check out time but again no real apology
Really disappointing and after 2 good previous experiences will most likely give this hotel a miss next time I visit Birmingham”

“A very good place for stay. I mainly booked this place because it comes recommended for their swimming pool facility. The rooms were neat and clean. First of they have a very large parking lot. The staff at the reception are available 24 / 7 and they are very kind and very helpful.
The room was cleaned when ever we requested. The restaurant was very good with flat screens running some news or the CWG, as we visited during that time. The food was very good. They have a good sized swimming pool along with a separate jacuzzi. The kids had a lot of fun. The mattress are very comfortable (I found so). I was very surprised and excited that they serve a full English break fast. Priced at £ 16 the morning breakfast was amazing. Everywhere you find helpful people, except for one person who failed to attend the table even to check what we wanted to give directions on how to order. But that was only on the first evening, then we had friendly faces all around.
Check-in & check-out were very smooth. To sum up it was a excellent place, friendly staff and a very comfortable stay”
